This policy explains how Nomi handles data in the app.
Summary
Nomi does not require an account, does not show ads and does not use analytics. The app downloads a public events file, may use your location if you allow it and stores your saved choices locally on your device.
Controller and Contact
Nomi is responsible for the app's handling of data. Email kontakt@nomiapp.se with privacy questions, incorrect information or for help removing local app data.
Location
If you allow location access, Nomi uses your position to sort activities and show distances. Nomi does not store your position and does not send it to Nomi servers. You can change this permission in your device settings.
Saved and Planned Activities
Activities you save or add to your plan are stored locally on your device. They are not shared with Nomi and are removed if you clear app data or uninstall the app.
Event Data
The app downloads a public JSON file with current activities. When that file is requested, hosting providers may receive technical information such as IP address, timestamp and user agent in standard server logs.
Sources
Activity facts come from organizers, municipal calendars, libraries, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, commercial venues and OpenStreetMap. Nomi shows the source on activity pages and links to the source when available.
